The terrain behind Sooke, on the southwest coast of Vancouver Island, rendered as a chromatic RGB study. Elevation is read as colour rather than as shadow: the ridges and the cut of the creek valleys come out of the palette itself. A local piece, made on the island it maps.
Material. Printed behind glossy acrylic for depth and scratch resistance. Made to order.
